The Joint Replacement Services at Palms of Pasadena Hospital, are staffed by healthcare professionals who are experienced in caring for orthopedic patients. It is our hope to make your stay here at Palms of Pasadena Hospital as enjoyable as possible.

What to expect…
When you are admitted you will be given an orientation to the Joint Replacement Services unit by the concierge, along with having a photograph taken for your chart and room.

You will then have a Nursing Admission Assessment. This will include blood work, EKG and a chest x-ray.

A welcome video is then shown in the Education Center room for patients and their families.

An Anesthesia evaluation will be done, by the anesthesiologist.

You will have a Medical evaluation by a physician.

A family member or friend is welcome to stay with you overnight at no charge.

Remember this surgery is the first step toward relief from pain. Many people will be working very hard to keep you comfortable and help make your operation a success for you.
